Gorgeous day with a gorgeous bride. I was so honoured to be a part of this beautiful day!

I’m just starting to edit a stack of photos from a friend’s wedding, and I’m using Lightroom for the first time…and wondering, how on earth did I ever survive without this amazing program?! Words can’t even explain how much faster and more efficient it is! I can edit the raw files right in there and batch process everything! I’m so impressed.

Wedding photos to come soon…I’m so exhausted right now that I’m just quickly converting a few to jpg so the gorgeous bride can see them before they leave on the honeymoon.

On Monday, I was lucky enough to get an early birthday present…

A Peugeot 306!! I still can’t quite believe it…every time I walk outside to get in (and since I drive it for work, I get to do that a lot) I always get a little thrill of excitement. I’m completely in love with it. My garage is now the third bedroom, where my new baby snuggles up safe and sound at night! It needs a little bit of work – the previous owner didn’t lavish it with the love and adoration that I do – but it won’t take much to get it up to speed.

I haven’t named it yet. Actually, I still can’t decide if its a boy or a girl. I’m leaning towards boy but everyone else says it must be a girl “because its curvy”. Haha.

Incidentally, that photo is also my first HDR! I downloaded Photomatix a while ago, and I haven’t had a chance to play with it much. But tonight was the perfect chance – I promised my mum I would send a photo of the car…only problem, it’s always dark by the time I get home from work. No worries! Break out the tripod and snap away! I’m looking forward to having a good muck around with the program later.
