I fell into photography a few years ago, and I haven’t looked back since. When I got my first camera, I knew absolutely nothing about photography — I could barely tell my shutter speed from my aperture.

These days, my interest in photography has grown into a passion. There is something great about being able to capture a slice out of everyday life and turn it into a beautiful photo! I’ve dipped my toes in a wide range of photography areas, from landscape to real estate, but my favourite subject will always be people. I love being able to snap a shot and see the real essence of someone in that picture — if I can do that for just one photo, I’m happy.

I haven’t given up my day job just yet, but I can’t imagine a better hobby than photography. You never stop learning and improving, and I get a kick out of knowing every photo I take is better than the last.

I’m currently living in Adelaide, South Australia – but I love to travel. When I’m not hidden behind the camera, you can usually find me curled up with a good book, or rocking out with a long session of Guitar Hero! (Did I mention I’m a huge geek? Sad but true. My biggest weakness is spending hours of my life staring intently at Photoshop, too.)

I do shoot weddings — you can find more information about that here — as well as portraits. I’m currently looking to build up my portfolio, so if you’d like some hawt photos of yourself looking all that, please get in touch! We’ll work with a makeup artist to get you looking a million bucks, too.

I also take photos of children, so if you’d like some memories of your little ones, let me know. Newborn photography is best before the third week (they’re not that sleepy and pliable for long, unfortunately) but older kids are an “anytime”!
